Museum Night

It's Museum Night in Mexico City

Final Wednesday of Every Month
6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Mexico City's Museum Night regularly means that some 45 of the city's leading museums stay open late and offer discounted or free admission!

More than 45 institutions participate regularly in the Noche de Museos. If you’re fortunate enough to be here for “Museum Night,” it’s held during evening hours of the final Wednesday of each month.

Programming includes concerts, film screenings, guided tours, and some hands-on workshops. It’s a terrific way to get out and see something completely new or to visit an institution that's sure to give you a big welcome, even if it's your first time there.

While the listings below are subject to change from month to month, most months include all of the following participating institutions - plus some newer ones. Remember, programming is scheduled for that night only from 6 to 10 p.m.

  • Noche de Museos also runs an excellent Twitter account with details leading up to each month’s events in Mexico City. You can follow them here.
