This work was released in 1934 by the muralist Rivera, who had already made a similar work at the Rockefeller Center in New York, which was unfortunately destroyed; however, when he was asked to do a mural for the magnificent Museo de Bellas Artes he reused several of the ideas he had conceived for New York.
The ideology reflected is overtly political, one can observe an omnipotent worker character at the center, while at the sides a socialist worldview is evident, in which Red Square appears with Marx, Engels, Lenin and several other characters. You can also see a Western view of religious tradition and Darwin's thinking; all this to show the world and its perspectives.
