“El teatro de la historia de México” de Diego Rivera

Open - Limited Services / Capacity

The teatro de la historia de México is a mural of 550 square meters that can be seen when entering the Teatro Insurgentes. At the center of the work, Rivera gave space to drama, which he represented with a mask, sun and moon. At the top you can see Cantinflas asking for money from the rich and giving to the poor, Robin Hood style. The rest of the work is a tribute to various Mexican plays.
