This museum was founded in 1983 with a solo exhibition by Raúl Anguiano. It promotes all manifestations of contemporary art by national and international artists. It has been a forum for artists such as Rubén Contreras, Leonardo Nierman, Gustavo Montoya, Antonio Ramírez, Hermenegildo Sosa, Rosie Velez and others.
