Metro auditorio station logo

Metro Auditorio is one of the stations deep beneath Chapultepec Park. On Metro line 7, up top the station also serves as a major point for buses heading further north and west, and for the Metrobús line 7 that runs on Paseo de la Reforma.

The station is named for the National Auditorium. The Auditorium is just a few steps away from the station exits. The station logo represents the old National Auditorium building prior to its reopening in 1993.

  • The Turibus station is directly in front of the Auditorium.
  • The station is among the busiest in the system, with nearly 12,000 per day in 2018.

Inside the station, the mural “Un viaje por el rock and roll” by cartoonist, Jorge Manjarrez is thought to be one of the most visible in the Metro system. Manjarrez is famous for having documented many of the most famous stars who’ve performed at the Auditorium. Among them, Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Madonna, Slash, Patti Smith, Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Mick Jagger are remembered in the work.

The Metro Auditorio station is most convenient for points in the west of Chapultepec Park. It’s also a good bet for the Polanco Hotels District and for the many Polanco galleries in the area.
