Mexico Israel Cultural Institute promotes relations and cultural interchange between both countries. Its origins date from 1947m when Martín Luis Guzmán was president. It is located in a property of XVII century that was a hospital and a San Felipe Neri Church. It was rebuilt in XVIII century and after the earthquake of 1985 it suffered structural damages.
It was inaugurated in 1997 and has five rooms with permanent exhibitions: Tradiciones, Israel, Jerusalem, En México and Folclore (Traditions, Israel, Jerusalem, In Mexico and Folklore).
