Science and Technology Communication – Tezozomo Museum (Centro de Difusión de Ciencia y Tecnología) (CeDiCyT) is created in August, 1999, with the aim of (Living with Science in Action) ‘Vivir la ciencia en acción’.
Nowadays three resources are integrated in this project: Tezozomoc Museum whose premise is first law of thermodynamics, which establishes that energy does not create nor destroys itself, it only transforms itself. Experiences are provided here in order to understand this principle and others related to energy.
Planetarium “Luis Enrique Erro” is inside CeDiCyT, which is the first opened to audience in México (1967); however, it was thanks to its redesign in 2007 what turned it into the favorite of the inhabitants in the area, specially for the children who will have a space to discover and learn about the universe because of all the workshops offered here.
It is the headquarters of magazine Conversus. Topics in each number of the magazine that concern the national scientific community are presented in a neutral language that searchs to support the development of scientific culture as a part of society.
